• Professor Glyn Davis AC

    Professor Glyn Davis AC is a nationally respected public policy leader with deep experience across government, higher education, and philanthropy. He currently serves as Secretary of the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, Australia’s most senior public service role.

    Glyn previously served as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Melbourne (2005–2018) and Griffith University, and was Chief Executive Officer of the Paul Ramsay Foundation. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles in the Queensland Government, including Director-General of the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.

    Internationally, Glyn is a Visiting Professor at the Blavatnik School of Government at the University of Oxford. He is a Fellow of the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia and has served on numerous public and not-for-profit boards.

    He was appointed a Companion of the Order of Australia (AC) in 2002 for his service to public administration, tertiary education, and the community.
