Amy Auster, CEO
Amy Auster is the inaugural CEO of the Policy Institute, drawing on her background as a strategic advisor to Government to find creative, market-oriented solutions that will advance Australia’s prosperity.
Amy has previously served as Managing Director at Scyne Advisory and Partner at PwC, and as CEO at the Infrastructure and Project Financing Agency, Chief Adviser at the Commonwealth Treasury and Deputy Secretary at the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance. Prior to roles in and advising Government, Amy was a senior executive at ANZ Banking Group in Melbourne and JPMorgan in New York. She is on the Board of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and the Victorian Trust for Nature, and an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at Monash University. Amy holds an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and a master’s degree in economics and finance from Columbia University in New York, and is the proud mother of 3 children.
